This document describes how Mandiram actually works today, but it has not been reviewed by a qualified lawyer and must be before Mandiram launches. Last updated 15 October 2026.

Using Mandiram means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Mandiram.
You must be at least 13 years old to hold a Mandiram account.
If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use it.
You may hold one account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. If you forget it, Mandiram can email a reset link to your account's email address.
You keep ownership of what you write on Mandiram.
By posting, you grant Mandiram the licence it needs to store what you wrote and show it to other people on the product — that licence is limited to running Mandiram, not a transfer of ownership.
You are responsible for what you post.
Pay the shop directly when collecting a new order. Mandiram does not take payment for it. Donations to Mayash Foundation are made on mayash.org, under its own terms.
Older shop orders paid online used Razorpay. Mandiram retains their payment records and handles eligible refunds; it does not see card, UPI or bank details entered in Razorpay's window.
When an order is cancelled or refunded is set out in Cancellation and Refunds. Mandiram ships nothing; see Shipping and Delivery.
A donation entry on a place's page is different: it records an intention to donate only, moves no money, and produces no receipt or 80G certificate. Any giving to a place happens directly with that place.
No place in the imported directory came with a real photograph. Every listing image you see is an illustrative stock photograph with no relation to that place.
Do not treat an image on a listing as evidence of what a place actually looks like.
The listings on Mandiram were imported in bulk from an earlier data set. They may be inaccurate, out of date, or duplicated.
A listing is not an endorsement of that place, an affiliation with it, or a claim that Mandiram represents it.
If you have authority over a place, the claim flow exists for you to say so, and claims are reviewed before they are accepted.

Mandiram may remove content, or suspend an account, that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines.
You can raise a complaint about any such action through the grievance process. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days.
Mandiram is provided as-is. Directory data may be wrong.
To the extent the law allows, Mandiram is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.
These terms are governed by the law of India.
The date at the top of this page changes whenever this document does. Continuing to use Mandiram after a change means accepting it.
